We never euthanize animals for lack of space but we do must limit the pets coming in at time to avoid risking the lives of the pets we’ve already committed to. Steps for International Adoption
- Choose the pet you want to foster or adopt and we make video calls so you can see the pet interacting with people and other pets.
- Once your pet decision is made, we start the steps to pre pare their documentations to fly to your destination country. Furry Heart help and guide you to obtain these documentation.
- We normal find a flight volunteer to bring your pet to you or you can choose to come and get them as well. Having the pet fly with a person reduces the cost of the pet ticket considerably. Using cargo or an agent is also possible but very costly.
- All of our pets are vaccinated and chipped.
- We support the flight volunteer and bring the pet to the departing airport and we hope that you can arrange the pick up at the arrival airport.
- The fees needed are for the documents (rabies titter test 100$ and exit papers 100$) as well as the transportation for the pet (air ticket 400$ and taxi to airport 200$)
- Other fees might be needed for kennel and flight volunteer but it is a case per case situation.
