Meet Frida

I'm shy at first, but boy oh boy do I just love cuddles!

Friday is the mother of the dog found behind the parking lot. She was a dog a local restaurant used for breeding. At rescue she was skin and bones and had an awful skin infection throughout her whole body so she had no fur at all. Slowly, with medicine and good nutrition she started healing and she now looks so beautiful and healthy. She still care for her 7 children but they are all grown up now so she has her own friends and life at the sanctuary.

Frida's Personality

Frida is one of the happiest and most grateful dogs you will ever meet. She comes to greet everyone with a shining smile and looks into your soul as if to say, “Isn’t life wonderful?!” She plays with everyone including cats and loves humans. New humans will be a bit scary for her at first but she is confident enough to come and meet them and then more further away.

Frida's Ideal Home

Frida’s ideal home is a home with lots of love and time to be with her and care for her. She has a few years to make up to feel more kindness and affection. Having a yard is not so important as long as she gets 2 to 3 walks a day. She is an active dog and will need stimulation. The family will need to be patient when strangers come in the home as she will run and hide until she understand they are safe.
