Meet Marco

I'm shy at first, but boy oh boy do I just love cuddles!

Marco was found as a 4 month old puppy covered with mange and bleeding sores. He was taken to the vet and he was not eating sicne his stomach was paralized. Later he received both westher and chinese medicine to recover. Marco was friendly and sweet from the start. Even if he was so sick he still had a big smile on his face. He accepted the treatments and recovered in 3 months. At the sanctuary, he loves to play with the puppies and to teach them so we call him uncle Marco. He also loves toys and his bed. He is very affectionate and loves to take care of others.

Marco's Personality

Marco is a sweetheart and he is sensitive to his environment. He will be playful or on guard depending on the situation. When he is relaxed he will play with toys and give cuddles. If he needs to guard and protect he will be strict and bark.

Marco's Ideal Home

Marco’s ideal home has a smaller or younger dog to play with him, preferably a female. He loves going for walks and exploring as well as going to the yard. The new family will have time to play with him and show him affection as well as have a job for him to do.

There are no adoption fees to adopt one of our furry hearts! However, we do have a interview process to ensure the safety and compatibility of all furry hearts in our shelter.
